Adobe Photoshop, mouse, 1995.

It's really interesting to look back at this and remember what it was like in 1995. There wasn't anything like deviantART, the internet was in its infancy (had to ftp everything), and I had to draw this picture with a mouse because I couldn't afford a tablet. And do it all at low resolution because I couldn't afford any memory. It was also back when the major American comic book companies were just barely getting into computerized coloring, and I was trying to build a portfolio.

Anyhow, I scanned the basic sketch and mostly used the lasso and gradient tools, although there are some places that I brushed. I used some strange combination of filters (no clue what) to get the background.
